Invitational

The Invitational provides a forum for these coveted connections. PVI brings in both local and regional opera companies, orchestras, and choral organizations to connect with our students directly. Within the first two years alone, 42 contracts have been offered, a remarkable achievement for our singers.

This audition is unique, and Potomac Vocal is proud to be successfully shifting the paradigm of how careers are launched.

Professional Development Program

We believe current opera training lacks consistent, direct contact with performing artists. At PVI we are working to effectively bridge the gap between academia and the stage.  While nothing replaces the university and conservatory in initial preparation, at a certain point in a singer’s development they need what only active professionals can teach: what is actually required to take the stage.
